Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0 (TSS 3.0) is the latest and most advanced version of Toyota’s active safety suite. Standard on many 2025 Toyota models, it uses upgraded sensors, smarter detection, and new driver assistance features to help make every drive safer.
Pre-Collision System (PCS)
Now with improved detection at intersections and the ability to recognize motorcyclists, TSS 3.0 helps you avoid or reduce the impact of frontal collisions with vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists.
Lane Departure Alert (LDA)
LDA now includes enhanced lane recognition, helping detect certain 3D objects like guardrails to improve accuracy. If you drift, it provides visual/audio warnings and gentle steering assistance.
Lane Tracing Assist (LTA)
This upgraded feature can now adjust your vehicle’s path to create more space between you and vehicles in adjacent lanes. It works with cruise control to help keep you centered — even in curves.
Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)
DRCC now includes four following distance settings and smoother acceleration/deceleration, offering a more natural highway driving experience.
Proactive Driving Assist (PDA)
All-new for TSS 3.0, PDA gently supports steering and braking in curves or when following vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists. It includes: Obstacle Anticipation Assist, Deceleration Assist, Steering Assist
Automatic High Beams (AHB)
Helps increase visibility at night by automatically switching between high and low beams to reduce glare for other drivers.
Road Sign Assist (RSA)
RSA now reads an even wider range of signs — including warning signs like pedestrian crossings — and displays them on your dashboard for added awareness.
