The 2021 Venza’s new sheetmetal is elegant and dynamic, with crisp lines and complex surfaces. Slim, Full-LED lighting front and rear provides brilliant illumination and an upmarket appearance. While it shares some design cues with the rest of the Toyota lineup, the Venza has a style all its own.
The 2021 Venza is the first Toyota model to be offered exclusively as an all-wheel-drive hybrid vehicle. The powertrain features a 2.5-litre Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder gas engine and three electric motors with a combined system output of 219 horsepower. Toyota’s AWD-i intelligent all wheel drive uses the electric motors (two at the front wheels, one in the rear) to distribute power to the wheels with the most traction for surefooted handling in all conditions. Fuel economy is estimated at 5.9L/100KM, a staggering 91% improvement over the previous all-wheel-drive Venza’s 11.3L/100KM.
The 2021 Venza advances Toyota’s leading-edge infotainment technology, with an available 12.3” touchcreen display, and standard compatibility with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. The available 9-speaker JBL sound system features a 1200-watt amplifier, the most powerful sound system ever fitted to a Toyota vehicle. There’s also an available 7” multi-information display in the instrument cluster, and an available head-up display, putting all the information you need right within view. Visibility is also excellent, with the available digital rear view mirror and birds-eye-view camera with perimeter scan.
The Venza carries on Toyota’s commitment to safety with an impresssive array of active safety technology. Standard on all trims, Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 (TSS 2.0) features pre-collision system (now with bicyclist detection capability), Lane Departure Alert, Automatic High Beams, and Full-Speed-Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. The Venza also incude the latest enhancements to the TSS 2.0 suite: Lane Tracing Assist and Road Sign Assist.
With its unique blend of elegant design and smart technology, the 2021 Venza is the new standard for what a modern crossover can be. We can’t wait to see show you more when it arrives for the 2021 model year.
